Groundhog Day

Is using a Groundhog to determine how long winter will last a good idea?  We learned all about Groundhogs today.  We read both fiction and non fiction books. Tomorrow we will write about the use of a Groundhog to predict the weather.  Your child will form their own opinion and support it with their own reasons and ideas.  Feel free to talk about it at home tonight.
