Yay for week 2 of our reading program. Your child will have either word cards or ABC cards. (We showed and talked about these at our information night). Please go through these with your child after they read. ABC cards need letter name , sound and key word. Yes some of the pictures are ridiculous like I, itch but they have a picture of a monkey. Word cards need to be known in a snap. Please don't have your child sound these words out. They need to be learned on sight. Lastly, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be sure your child has their reading bag back to school every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Thank you .
