Hi, I'm Christine Anderson and I LOVE teaching kindergarten! I have taught kindergarten for over half of my life (that's a long time). I am so excited to meet you and your family. I am a firm believer that education is a three way partnership between the student, parents and teacher. I can't wait to meet you and am honored to be your kindergarten teacher. I live in Colchester and my children attended UMS, it's a wonderful school. I am originally from Binghamton NY where I taught kindergarten for 3 years before moving to Vermont. I taught at King Street Youth Center in Burlington for one year then I came to UMS (I love it too much to ever leave). When I am not teaching or thinking about school, I am a busy mom of three. I love spending time with family and friends. I have a dog named Sally who loves ice cream as much as I do. I love being in, on or near the water. I enjoy gardening, watching my kids participate in their numerous activities and I love to read. I am looking forward to our year together.
