Reading Bags are Coming Home Today

Fire Safety

We had some very impressive visitors today to teach us about fire safety.  Be prepared to help your child know your meeting spot in case of an emergency and to practice your address in case they need to call 911.

Our First Reading Program

Hip-hip-hooray!!!! Our reading program has started.  Your children are very excited to bring home their reading bags and READ to you today.

Sorting

We sorted in math today. Your children are learning that the same group of objects can be sorted in more then one way.  Ask your child about our fishing game where I sort them.

My Big OOPS!

So a note went home today saying our reading program night is tomorrow.... It was tonight as all my other notes stated.  I'm sorry!  I did not write the note and I did not check the content.  My fault!!! Don't worry if you missed the meeting.  I will send home enough notes and put information on our blog so you know what you need to do at home. 

Mindfulness

We are so lucky to get Mrs. McCleary twice a week.  On Tuesday's she will be teaching us mindfulness.  Today we made a brain.  We filled our brain with thoughts, feelings and things we notice. We will practice techniques that help us settle our brains.

This Weather is the BEST!!!

I think it would have been a crime if we did not go out and enjoy this magnificent weather today.
